Vinted Shoppers Express Frustration Over Size Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category than originally posted due to the recalibration.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
The platform has recommended to review their products and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Updates
Before the change, the measurements included one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Manual Updates
Another shopper, based in Derby, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: previously, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options following member complaints.
